Ron Harris, Bandleader & Guitarist
Ron Harris has been involved in the Chicago music scene for over 15 years. He taught himself how to play guitar in high school and then went on to study music and business at Southern Illinois University. He is a highly respected guitarist and created the Ron Harris Music Group by combining his love of music with his entrepreneurial spirit and business experience. Ron is on the board of directors of the National Association of Catering Executives, and for four years in a row, Ron has been asked to serve as a co-chair of the Chicago NICE Awards, the Event industry’s annual awards gala.
Paul Coleman, Vocalist
Paul Coleman has performed with some of the biggest names in music, including Stevie Wonder, Parliament, Earth Wind & Fire, the Funkadelics and James Brown. In addition to singing, to his credit, Paul arranges and produces R&B and rock albums.
Sarah Marie Young, Vocalist
Sarah Marie Young, a singer/songwriter and musician, performs with several bands, including her own trio. She wrote, directed, produced and performed a tribute show to Sarah Vaughan and also shared the stage with such musical talent as Buddy Guy and Earth, Wind and Fire. A graduate of Columbia College with a vocal jazz degree, Sarah was a semifinalist in the 2010 Thelonius Monk Jazz Competition.
Steve Vining, Bass
Steve Vining has toured nationally, led his own band and, when not performing, produces both commercial and musical projects ranging from progressive rock to classical. Steve has a music degree and a Masters in Business Administration from DePaul University. He also has completed graduate studies in recording and film-making.
Jamie Pastman, Piano
Jamie Pastman has performed with such artists as Aretha Franklin, the Marshall Tucker Band, Three Dog Night and the Platters. He has also performed for Cirque Du Soleil, the musical Mama Mia as well as for two film scores and countless TV commercials.
Jerry Frank, Drummer
Jerry Frank has performed throughout the country with such artists as Willie Nelson, Tanya Tucker, Junior Wells, Buddy Guy and Ben Vereen. He spent several years in England as part of the London rock group Nobody’s Business.
Dez Desmoreaux, Saxophone & Flute
Dez Desormeaux’s has performed with music legends such as Clarence Clemons of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, the O’Jays, the Chi Lites, Bo Diddley, Junior Wells and Otis Clay. As an in-demand studio player, you likely have heard Dez’s musical talent on any number of the hundreds of TV and radio commercials for which he’s performed.
